The Children’s Ministry Coordinator is a full-time, salaried position that plays a vital role in supporting the vision and day-to-day operations of Saint James Church’s Children’s Ministry. Working closely with the Children’s Pastor and ministry teams, this position focuses on coordinating volunteers, managing nursery staff, and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for children from birth through elementary age. Responsibilities include scheduling and equipping volunteers, organizing childcare for church-wide events, preparing curriculum materials, overseeing classroom management, and assisting with Sunday morning and special event programming. This role also supports church-wide initiatives through participation on the Communications and Assimilation Teams and requires a high level of organization, relational leadership, and a passion for helping children and families grow in faith.
