5th Grade Blessing Sunday

On May 17th, we’ll celebrate 5th Grade Blessing Sunday—a special milestone in the life of our church and families. This day serves as a promotion moment for our 5th graders as they step into a new season and begin their transition into youth ministry.

During the service, we’ll take time to pray over these students, speak blessing over their lives, and celebrate all that God has done in them so far.

Following the service, families are invited to a welcome lunch in the Youth Room. This will be an intentional time designed to help both students and parents step confidently into this next season. Our 8th–10th grade students will spend time with the incoming 6th graders playing games and helping them get connected, while parents will remain in the Youth Room for a brief introduction to our youth ministry.

During this time, we’ll share our heart and vision, walk through the summer schedule, explain how to stay connected (GroupMe, social media, etc.), and answer any questions you may have.

We’re excited to celebrate this moment and partner with families as these students take their next step.
